Nicholas Pert: An attacking Repertoire with 1.d4 - Part 2 (1.d4 Nf6 2.c4) In this "two-part" video series I take a look at a main line White system based on 1.d4. This series is aimed at the ambitious player who is looking to put maximum pressure on their opponent from the start of the game. In this DVD I consider positions in which Black plays without an early d5. The start position of this series is 1.d4 d5 2.Nf6. This DVD focuses on a White system against openings such as the "Nimzo-Indian", Benoni and Benko. Please note that the Grunfeld and Kings Indian variations (2...g6) are not covered in this DVD. There are many aggressive, fresh ideas designed to cause problems for Black players. My chosen lines tend to be very attacking, aiming to quickly fight for control of the centre and an early attack on the black king. There is also a lot of original analysis included. This video series considers how to tackle the "Nimzo-Indian" using the move 4.Qc2. Various Benoni lines are considered, the main line, Czech, Snake, Late and Old Benoni. Some fresh, aggressive, attacking ideas have been considered against the Benko Gambit and Blumenfeld. In addition I have looked at how to play against 2...b6, the Budapest and Fajarowicz. Details Video running time: 5 hours 50 min. With interactive training including video feedback Extra: Database with model games Including CB14 Reader GM Nick Pert is a chess grandmaster from England who has regularly played for the England team in Olympiads and European Team Championships. He is a former World U18 chess champion and is the current National Head Coach of the English Chess Federation

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The ChessMachine was a chess computer sold between 1991 and 1995 by TASC (The Advanced Software Company). It was unique at the time for incorporating both an ARM2 coprocessor for the chess engine on an ISA card which plugged into a IBM PC and a software interface running on the PC to display a chess board and control the engine. The ISA card was sold with a CPU running at either 16 MHz or 32 MHz, and 128 KB, 512 KB, or 1 MB of onboard memory for transposition tables. This made economic sense because at the time of introduction because mainstream PCs were only running from 10 MHz to 25 MHz. Two engines were sold with the card: The King by Johann de Koning and Gideon by Ed Schröder. Gideon was famed for winning two World Computer Chess Championships on this hardware. The King would later become the engine used in the popular Chessmaster series of chess programs.

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Justine Henin (born 1 June 1982), formerly known as Justine Henin-Hardenne 2002 2007, is a professional Belgian tennis player. On 14 May 2008, Henin announced her immediate retirement from professional tennis. She was 25 years old and ranked World No. 1 at the time of her retirement. Billie Jean King has said that "pound for pound, Henin is the best tennis player of her generation." She announced her return to competitive tennis on September 22, 2009. Henin won 41 WTA singles titles and more than US$19 million in prize money. Seven of those titles were Grand Slam singles titles, including four French Open titles, one Australian Open title, and two US Open titles. She also won the year-ending Sony Ericsson Championships twice and the singles gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Tennis experts cite her mental toughness, the completeness and variety of her game, her footspeed and footwork, and her one-handed backhand (which John McEnroe has described as the best single-handed backhand in the women's or men's game) as the principal reasons for her success.
